Four people in hospital after suspected accident under the influence of alcohol

The accident occurred on Saturday at the intersection of 27th Street and McDowell Road in Phoenix. Here's what we know:

PHOENIX – Four people were hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash in Phoenix involving a suspected impaired driver, according to Phoenix police.

The department told 12News that officers were called to the crash at the intersection of 27th Street and McDowell Road around 7:35 p.m. Saturday.

When police and firefighters arrived at the scene, they found that the driver of one of the three cars was impaired. The driver was arrested and is charged with drunk driving.

A total of four people were injured and taken to hospital. None of them are in critical condition.

So far, the identities of the people involved in the accident have not been established and no further details about the accident have been released.
