Canandaigua man arrested for shoplifting at Tops Market

A Canandaigua man was arrested Saturday for shoplifting at Tops Market on North Street.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Tops Market at 5150 North Street. The suspect was identified as Joshua Tiffany, 46, who left the store without paying for $94.90 worth of meat.

Tiffany was arrested in the area of ​​Main Street and Perry Place and charged with petty theft. He was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment and will appear in Canandaigua Municipal Court at a later date.
