2 dead in apparent murder-suicide in southwest Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide in southwest Charlotte that occurred Friday afternoon.

According to police, they were called to the 9200 block of Kings Parade Boulevard around 1:19 p.m. on Friday, September 13.

When they arrived at the scene, they found two people who had been shot. The paramedics pronounced both of them dead at the scene.

According to investigators, the shooting appears to have been a murder-suicide. Police are not currently looking for any other suspects.
