A motorcyclist was killed Saturday morning after an accident on I-75 in Estero.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on I-75 northbound near mile marker 124.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office said the motorcycle and a car collided. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to LCSO.

The MPs have not yet disclosed the identity of the victim.

Due to the size of the accident site, the road was initially closed but has since been reopened.
