Compensation for the animals killed in the incident is also being processed.”

Punjab Police on Sunday said it has arrested the second suspect in connection with the Chandigarh grenade attack. Vishal Masih, a resident of Raimal village in Batala, Gurdaspur, was arrested in Delhi, Superintendent of Police Gaurav Yadav said.

A network of cybercriminals was busted after two men were arrested on suspicion of committing fraud under the pretext of increasing credit card limit, officials said on Sunday. The duo was mainly active in Bihar, they said.

Hitting back at Jagdeep Dhankhar for his apparent attack on Rahul Gandhi over his comments on reservations, the Congress on Sunday asked the Vice President who he supported: “the one who stubbornly refuses to conduct a caste census or the one who is championing” the demand for it. The opposition party's jibe came after Dhankhar said, “A person from a constitutional post saying on foreign soil that reservations should be abolished underlines the same anti-constitutional sentiment. The baton of prejudice against reservations has been passed on. It is the same old anti-constitutional sentiment.”
