Raiders survey: Trust in coach Antonio Pierce

Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce, in his first full season as an NFL coach, is in the spotlight this week after his team suffered a 22-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers to open the season on Sunday.

Although this was certainly not the only reason for his team's defeat, Pierce was heavily criticized for one of his important decisions.

To summarize again:

The Chargers led 16-10 with 7:40 left in the game and Pierce decided to punt from the Chargers 43-yard line and fourth-and-1. The Chargers then ran 92 yards to score and tie the game. Yes, the Raiders had trouble scoring in short yardage situations all game, but at that point in the game, it seemed like the right decision to go for it.

Pierce has stressed that he stands by the decision, saying the biggest issue was that the Raiders' defense couldn't stop the Chargers on the next drive, so it seems like he would make the decision again without hesitation.

Raiders fans have been very supportive of Pierce, who has a 5-5 record as head coach since taking over as interim coach last November.
Nevertheless, some fans were critical after Sunday's game. What is your opinion of Pierce now?
