Milton woman arrested for suspected strangulation and child endangerment

Saratoga County Sheriff's officials arrested a Milton woman on suspicion of strangulation and child endangerment after they said the case was initially investigated for a welfare check.

According to a press release, officers were called to Middle Line Road in Milton at 5:04 a.m. Saturday to check on the welfare of children, but further investigation into the call led to the arrest of 41-year-old Jennifer L. Fraser.

Authorities said Fraser applied pressure to another person's throat or neck in an attempt to impede that person's normal breathing or blood circulation, an action that allegedly caused the person to lose consciousness.

At the time of the incident, officials said an 8-month-old child was present.

According to a press release, Fraser was arraigned in Milton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail on bail pending further action.
