Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup had a sweet date!

On Saturday, September 14, the couple were seen holding hands at the Vanity Fair Pre-Emmy party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, California, ahead of the 2024 Emmy Awards on Sunday.

Watts, 55, wore a sparkly silver dress and a black clutch, while Crudup, 56, wore a simple black suit with a white shirt and black dress shoes. The actress wore her hair loose in a bob style.

Both stars are nominated for this year's Emmys. Crudup is nominated for his work in Apple TV+'s “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.” The morning show alongside co-stars Jon Hamm and Mark Duplass. The other nominees in the category are Jack Lowden for Slow horsesJonathan Pryce for The Crown and Tadanobu Asano and Takehiro Hira, both for Shogun.

Meanwhile, Watts is nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her portrayal of real-life celebrity Babe Paley in “The Last Man.” Feud: Capote vs. the SwansAlso nominated for the award is Brie Larson for Chemistry lessonsJodie Foster for True Detective: NightlandJuno Temple for Fargo and Sofía Vergara for Griselda.

Watts and Crudup married in a New York courthouse in June 2023 and celebrated with friends and family in Mexico City a year later. They have been romantically linked since they both starred in the Netflix series in 2017 GypsyHowever, they did not make their red carpet debut as a couple until February 2022 at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where Crudup was nominated.

Last August, Watts spoke at a wellness event in New York about her “pretty great” sex life with her husband. “Whatever you're going through, if you can talk to your partner and remove the awkwardness … and most of the time, if they're good people, they'll be empathetic,” she said. “And that's hot — that's really hot if you can be honest and the conversation goes really well.”

She even remembered having to sneak into the bathroom before sex to scrub off the sticky residue from the estrogen patches she was using at the time to regulate her hormones.

“The moment I brought honesty into the game, even though it was uncomfortable and difficult for me – I was so ashamed of it – he knew how to behave, he knew what signals to look for, he was 100 percent empathetic and I can safely say that we had, you know, pretty great sex that night,” the actress said at the wellness event.

In July, Watts posted a romantic photo on Instagram of himself and Crudup cuddling on a boat with a picturesque backdrop to celebrate his birthday.

“Happy birthday Billy ♥️,” Watts captioned the post.
