Boise is nearly 300 miles from Moscow, where the alleged murders of the four students took place.

Kohberger was flown from Latah County, Idaho, to the state capital on Sunday morning.

Following his transfer, the Ada County Sheriff's Department released a recent mugshot of Kohberger.

Kohberger will be held in prison until his trial begins in June 2025. He is charged with four counts of premeditated murder and burglary.
