Several injured after accident involving three vehicles at the intersection of Doniphan and Spur 16, all lanes closed

UPDATE: An El Paso Fire Department spokesperson confirmed one patient was transported with serious injuries. Four sustained moderate injuries and three were treated for minor injuries.

The accident occurred on Lane 16 East and Doniphan Dr. around 7:13 p.m.

All lanes in the area remain closed.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – A three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Doniphan and Spur 16 in the Upper Valley has resulted in the complete closure of the eastbound and westbound lanes of Doniphan, according to TxDOT.

According to the fire department control center, several injuries were reported and at least one person was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The accident was reported on Sunday at 7:15 p.m.
