Janet Jackson revealed 'ripped trouser' to Queen Elizabeth II

Janet Jackson accidentally exposed herself in front of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

During her performance for the former British monarch, the pop singer revealed that she had suffered a wardrobe malfunction.

“I was performing for the Queen of England and we were playing 'Rhythm Nation'. Sure enough, as soon as I squatted down, my trousers ripped right in the crack of my butt,” Jackson, 58, told British Vogue.

“I couldn't believe it had happened. I just thought, 'Oh my God.' And then I felt air back there and knew it had really happened.”

The “All For You” singer explained that when Jackson realized her outfit mishap had occurred, she adjusted her choreography so that she was only facing forward to avoid the queen seeing her wardrobe mishap.

Jackson's comments came after she suffered a major outfit failure during the 2004 Super Bowl.

During the halftime show, singer Justin Timberlake ripped Jackson's costume, revealing her right breast, which was bare except for a nipple piercing. The legendary singer was immediately blacklisted by CBS and MTV and banned from the Grammy broadcast.

The “disruption” occurred at the very end of Jackson's performance, when Timberlake joined her on stage. It was only when Timberlake sang his final line – “By the end of this song, I'm going to have you naked” – that he pulled back a piece of Jackson's outfit, exposing one of her breasts on live television.

“Honestly, the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. And of course it was an accident that shouldn't have happened, but everyone is looking for someone to blame and that has to stop,” she said.

“Justin and I are very good friends and we will always be very good friends. We just spoke a few days ago. He and I have moved on and it's time for everyone else to do the same.”
