Clifton Springs woman arrested at home on outstanding warrant

A Clifton Springs woman was arrested Saturday night after officers with the Ontario County Sheriff's Office executed a warrant at her home. The arrest occurred just after 7 p.m. at 28 East Main Street in the Village of Clifton Springs after a warrant was issued by the Ontario County Court on Sept. 11.

Authorities confirmed that 40-year-old Ashley Rae Johnston was arrested without incident and taken to the Ontario County Jail. The warrant, signed by Judge Sisson, was related to an unspecified matter pending in court.

Johnston remains in custody awaiting arraignment. Further details about the case were not immediately available.
