Horacio's expands, fatal car crash, New Bedford Cobbler: Top stories

As we start a new week, let’s take a look at the news from the past week.

New Bedford police officers are going back to school this month to learn the ins and outs of their new body-worn cameras. In their season opener on September 6, Bishop Stang's football team focused on stopping Dartmouth High School's outside attack, but the Spartans had no answer for the team's running game. Senior running back Ray Gramlich took advantage, carrying the ball 20 times for a career-high 267 yards and scoring three touchdowns to help Dartmouth to a 34-0 victory over the Spartans.
