Taysom Hill taken to Dallas hospital after injury in second half against Cowboys

ARLINGTON, Texas — New Orleans Saints quarterback/tight end/fullback Taysom Hill was taken to a Dallas-area hospital after suffering a chest injury in the second half of the team's 44-19 loss to the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday.

According to head coach Dennis Allen, Hill was taken to the hospital for further evaluation of his injury. Ross Jackson, media partner for WWL Louisiana and host of “Locked on Saints,” reported that Allen said it may be more of a precautionary measure, but more details will emerge as additional testing is carried out.

Times-Picayune Reporter Luke Johnson also confirmed the news on social media.

Before leaving, Hill rushed for 18 yards on three attempts and recorded one pass reception for one yard.

This is an ongoing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
