Shakira will not sing “Whenever, Wherever” if she is not respected for it.

The singer left the stage during a performance at a Miami nightclub over the weekend after apparently scolding her fans for filming under her dress.

Shakira, 47, initially beamed as she danced to her upcoming single “Soltera” on a narrow platform at LIV – only to then turn around, tug at her dress and wag her finger.

The Grammy winner then pointed to her eyes to signal that she had seen what was going on and then placed her hands on her waist.

Shakira – who was filming a video with Winnie Harlow, Anitta, Lele Pons and Danna – continued dancing for a while, then grabbed her hem again to signal that she was finished.

The singer of “Hips Don't Lie” abruptly walked to the edge of the stage and descended into the VIP area with fans and security guards.

The club claimed exclusively to Page Six on Monday that “it is actually [Shakira’s] Photo and video crew who tried to get her to stop filming while she was enjoying the moment with the crowd and fans.”

Social media users defended the songwriter at X for ending her performance early because of the “disgusting” incident.

“This is truly disappointing behavior,” one wrote. “Artists deserve respect and privacy, both on and off stage. It's crucial to ensure a safe environment for everyone.”

Others hit back at the “disgusting responses” and blamed Shakira, pointing out that “wearing a short dress is not an invitation to take photos.”

The Colombian superstar, who has not yet officially released “Soltera,” is preparing for her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” world tour, which begins in November.

For Shakira, this is the first trip since separating from her long-time partner Gerard Piqué, with whom she has sons Milan (11) and Sasha (9).

Their relationship ended in 2022 amid rumors that Piqué, 37, had cheated on him with his current girlfriend Clara Chia Marti.

The professional footballer countered the speculation in March 2023, telling El Pais that he would “not spend any money to clean up [his] Picture.”

Shakira, in turn, explained to Jimmy Fallon that she had written about the alleged betrayal in several songs in order to “himself [her] emotions” during a “hard year”.

Her love life has since made headlines and the “Waka Waka” singer has been linked to Tom Cruise, Lewis Hamilton and other celebrities.

“I don’t think about [dating],” Shakira told Rolling Stone in June. “How much room do I have for a man right now?”

She was last spotted having dinner with a mystery man in Miami last month.
