Authorities say students were injured in school bus crash in Random Lake

A school bus in the Random Lake School District was involved in an accident Monday morning that injured students.

The injured students, who were traveling on bus 17, are receiving medical attention, according to a Facebook post from the district.

The post said that the families of the affected students had been informed of the situation and that the remaining students on the bus would be picked up by their families.

The district encouraged parents concerned about their children's attendance to contact the school office and said school counselors were available to assist them.

The Random Lake School District is located in southern Sheboygan and northern Ozaukee County and has an enrollment of approximately 680 students. according to the district’s website.
