Lineups Game 149: Nats vs. Marlins

The easy portion of the Nationals' 2024 schedule comes to a close today. After this final game against the Marlins, the remaining four opponents heading into the final two weeks of the season are all above .500, with three of them entering today in a playoff position.

With a win this afternoon, the Nats would improve their record against the Fish to 11-2, a good sign that the tide has finally turned for the two teams, who are heading in different directions going forward.

MacKenzie Gore is looking to get back on track after a rough outing in his last game against the Braves. The young left-hander has a 1-0 record, a 1.38 ERA and 19 strikeouts in two starts against Miami this season.

Adam Oller will make his sixth start for the Marlins in today's finale. The right-hander has a record of 1-3 with a 5.40 ERA and a 1.388 WHIP. In his last outing against the Pirates, he allowed six runs, seven hits and three walks in five innings. The 29-year-old has never played against the Nationals in his three-year career.

CJ Abrams is missing from the lineup for the third consecutive game. The 23-year-old was originally not in Friday's lineup due to a left shoulder injury.
