Amended charges approved for man in fatal car crash – 95.3 MNC

Amended charges have been approved for a 21-year-old Shipshewana man accused of being involved in an accident that killed his passenger.

It happened in November 2022, when Cameron Woolf allegedly had marijuana and cocaine in his blood and was driving when he entered an intersection in front of another vehicle, causing a collision.

Woolf's passenger, Adam Maxson-Jones, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Woolf was charged with negligent homicide and possession of marijuana, butAccording to The Goshen News, the state requested an amendment to the charge to add operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in the blood.

Woolf's jury trial is scheduled for January 6.
