2 NFL games postponed due to medical incidents involving members of a prisoner gang

In the NFL, injuries didn't just occur on the field in Week 2.

Members of a prisoner gang were injured at two separate games on Sunday, but fortunately both men appear to be recovering.

The first incident occurred at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, where the Ravens hosted the Las Vegas Raiders.

The television broadcast showed the member of the prisoner column collapsing and requiring medical attention.

Trainers immediately performed CPR and players from both teams prayed. CBS later reported that he was awake and responsive after treatment and was taken to a hospital.

The second incident occurred during a Sunday Night Football game between the Houston Texans and the Chicago Bears at NRG Stadium.

A member of the prisoner gang required medical attention after tripping over a yard line marker on the sideline while attempting to avoid Texans running back Joe Mixon, who was running off the field.

He fell backwards and appeared to hit his head on the ground, where he remained for several minutes. Eventually he was able to get back on his feet and was carted off the field.

NBC commentators Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico addressed the situation on the show and talked about the NFL's “big family” before the game resumed.
