Larimer County wildfire triggers evacuation orders near Crystal Lakes

Due to a wildfire in the Crystal Lakes area in the foothills west of Fort Collins, Larimer County authorities issued a mandatory evacuation order on Monday.

Larimer County sheriff's officials said the wildfire has been named the Pearl Fire.

The first evacuation order at 11:55 a.m. affected Crystal Lakes, south of Black Mountain and north of Lake Erie, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office said on social media.

At 12:45 p.m., authorities extended the evacuation order to residents in the area of ​​county roads 86 and 170.
