Shakira's hips don't lie, and she doesn't let anyone disrespect them. The 47-year-old Grammy winner abruptly stopped a dance to her new song over the weekend after she allegedly caught a fan doing an upskirt on her.

Shakira was on stage at LIV Miami over the weekend, moving to her latest single “Soltera” when the incident occurred. The footage shows the moment she realized what was happening.

Shakira first smooths out the fabric, waves her finger vigorously in the direction of the perpetrator and continues her performance before she realizes that the two have not stopped with their antics.

The singer-songwriter then gestured to the rest of the crowd to signal that she was finished and retreated to the VIP area behind the stage.

Although she did not comment publicly on the incident, her fans quickly reacted with disgust when the clip made the rounds on the Internet.

“This is truly disappointing behavior,” someone wrote on X. “Artists deserve respect and privacy, both on and off stage. It's crucial to ensure a safe environment for everyone.”

“I fucking hate men,” added another user. “It's crazy how some guys can single-handedly turn a great experience into a total cringe fest with their creepy charisma.”

It has been almost a year since the Colombian singer, whose real name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, narrowly escaped a sensational trial in Spain for tax evasion and fraud.

As part of an agreement with prosecutors, Shakira agreed to pay a fine of approximately $7.6 million and received a three-year suspended sentence for allegedly failing to pay nearly $16 million in taxes between 2012 and 2014.

Since then, she has spoken openly about the bitter separation from her ex-husband, footballer Gerard Piqué, in 2022. After the separation, she was briefly rumored to be dating action star Tom Cruise.
