Woman seriously injured in rollover accident on I-29 in Platte County

A 28-year-old remains seriously injured following a rollover crash that shut down traffic on I-29 in Platte County early Monday morning. At approximately 6:50 a.m., the Platte County Sheriff's Office responded to a car crash on I-29 northbound near the 21 mile marker. This single-vehicle crash resulted in a temporary closure of I-29 with traffic being diverted to MO 371 HWY. The driver of the vehicle involved, a 28-year-old woman from Savannah, was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Platte County Sheriff's Office crash team. I-29 was reopened at 7:40 a.m.
