Kareem Hunt visits the Chiefs on Tuesday

Since Isiah Pacheco will be out for an extended period of time due to a broken fibula, the Chiefs are apparently facing a reunion with an experienced running back.

According to several reports, Kareem Hunt is scheduled to visit Kansas City on Tuesday.

Hunt, 29, was drafted by the Chiefs in the third round in 2017. As a rookie with the Chiefs, he led the league with 1,327 rushing yards and also caught 53 passes for 455 yards. But Kansas City released Hunt in November 2018 after a video surfaced of Hunt shoving a woman to the ground and then kicking her.

Hunt was suspended for the first eight games of the 2019 season after signing with the Browns. He spent the last five seasons with Cleveland, playing 15 games with two starts for the club last year. He finished the 2023 season with 411 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.

In 91 career games, Hunt has amassed 4,436 yards with 40 touchdowns and caught 226 passes for 1,890 yards and 17 TDs.
