Cooper Kupp (ankle) out “for a longer period”

This is now the third consecutive season that Kupp has been sidelined due to injury after winning the Triple Crown as a receiver in the Rams' 2021 Super Bowl season. In the previous two years, he missed a total of 13 games due to ankle and thigh problems.

McVay's Rams have had a terrible start to the 2024 season, both in terms of injuries and win-loss record, and they are now 0-2.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford's receiver corps — led by Kupp and second-year sensation Puka Nacua — is shrinking rapidly. Kupp could join Nacua on the injured list, as the latter was placed on the reserve list last week after suffering a sprained knee in the season-opening loss to the Detroit Lions.

The offensive line is also in trouble, as Jackson joins injured Joe Noteboom and Steve Avila. Avila and Noteboom were placed on the injured list last week along with Nacua.
