The year 2024 is starting to feel like 2004.

Later this year, Modest Mouse will be touring in support of their breakthrough album, Good News For People Who Love Bad News, The Killers are currently performing in Las Vegas in support of their album, Hot Fuss, and TV On The Radio has a handful of shows scheduled in New York and Los Angeles to pay tribute to their breakthrough debut, Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes.

Now Arcade Fire has joined the AIM chat.

On Monday, September 16, Win Butler and Co. come to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, for a one-of-a-kind concert celebrating their incomparable 2004 album “Funeral.”

At the time of publication, this is Arcade Fire’s only North American “Funeral” show this year.

If you'd like to attend, general admission tickets are available from Vivid Seats starting at $91 before fees.

The group likely would have had more performances this year, but in late 2022 it came under fire when a Pitchfork investigation alleged that lead singer Win Butler had “exploited his status as a famous musician to pressure (multiple partners) into sexual encounters.”

“I have struggled with mental health issues and the ghosts of childhood abuse for a long time,” he shared in a statement through crisis public relations specialist Risa Heller. “I began drinking in my 30s while battling the most severe depression of my life after our family suffered a miscarriage. None of this is to excuse my behavior, but I want to give some context and share what was happening in my life at that time.” (Régine Chassagne, Butler's bandmate and wife, also issued a statement in support of her husband.)

Win Butler controversy

According to the updated version of the Pitchfork story from November 2022, five people had come forward to share their experiences with Butler's alleged “manipulative, toxic” behavior.

Previously, “three women had made allegations that they had sexual interactions with Butler that they considered inappropriate given the age difference, power dynamics and the context in which they occurred. All three women were devoted Arcade Fire fans between the ages of 18 and 23 at the beginning of their interactions with Butler, which occurred during overlapping periods from 2016 to 2020, when he was between the ages of 36 and 39.”
