Miley Cyrus is sued for copying Bruno Mars' “When I Was Your Man”

Miley Cyrus got into legal trouble because of her biggest hits. Flowers.

According to TMZ, the former Disney star was sued by Tempo Music Investments for copyright infringement for copying Bruno Mars' single.When I was your husband.

Tempo Music Investments apparently owns a share of the copyright to his song.

Last January, Miley released the song, which was reportedly a reference to her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.

However, the lyrics of her song were very similar to Bruno's. When I was your husband.

He began the chorus with, “I should have bought you flowers and held your hand,” while Miley sang, “I can buy me flowers / Write my name in the sand.”

The lawsuit states: “Given the combination and numerous similarities between the two recordings, it cannot be denied that 'Flowers' would not exist without 'When I Was Your Man.'”

According to the documents Hannah Montana Starlet was accused of 24K Magic Pop singer.

Miley debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 last January for Flowers. Later, in February, she also received her first-ever Grammys for her career-defining single, taking home the trophies for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
