In order to create the best festive atmosphere, Nantou Ancient Town in Shenzhen has long hung traditional lanterns woven by craftsmen from Chaoshan and Dongyang, Guangdong. In order to show the heritage of cultural context and experience the new look of Nantou Ancient Town and rapid technological innovation, the 3D mapping of the city tower with the theme of “Moonlight in Nantou, Taste of Golden Autumn” will bring a visual and temporal feast to everyone including foreign tourists. On the autumn night, when “the whole street is full of osmanthus rain and the fragrance reaches to the south town”, the Guangdong folk custom of “making pomelo lanterns” will be revived in Nantou Ancient Town after osmanthus rain. The homesickness will be remembered in the transformation and renewal of the ancient town.
