Johnson faces multiple charges after domestic incident

CAMBRIDGE – A domestic dispute that occurred in a car on Sept. 14 led to the arrest of a Johnson man. He faces several charges, including first-degree domestic violence and violating a protective-from-abuse restraining order.

Vermont State Police were called to the scene at 2:31 p.m. and identified the suspect as Seth Hoag, 40.

An investigation revealed that Hoag had physically and emotionally harmed a woman in the presence of a child.

During the incident, he also violated a restraining order.

Authorities arrested Hoag the following day without incident.

He was transported to the Morristown Police Department for processing and then held without bail at the Northeast Correctional Complex pending further legal action.

For privacy reasons, the Vermont State Police have not released the identity of the victim to protect the person’s privacy and safety.
