FIRST WEATHER WARNING: Rain is coming

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) – It's been a dry month of September for many of us. Much-needed rain is coming from the east today and tomorrow.

Headlines:

• Today showers, persistent rain

• Temperatures are close to normal

• Autumn begins on Sunday

DISCUSSION:

We expect showers or rain showers until the morning. In the afternoon and later, the weather will clear up and only showers will remain. The clouds may break and one or two thunderstorms may form. It will also be a little humid and a little windy. Maximum temperatures will be between 19 and 23 °C.

On Wednesday it will be partly sunny and humid. The risk of rain will also remain. Highs will be between 75° and 80°.

We will clear it out in time for the Black Gold Festival. And for the forecast for next weekend, we are currently giving it two thumbs up.
