Dry and warm in Metro Detroit

4Warn Weather – Keyword “Temptations”: “I wish it would rain.”

The headline weather forecast continues to be extreme dryness. There is again a chance of isolated fog around dawn on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday morning will be a little cooler, with temperatures in most areas between 10 and 12 degrees. On September 17, it will be mostly sunny with highs of around 27 degrees.

Sunset is at 19:38

The only change in the forecast is that we're less likely to see an isolated shower on Wednesday. The tropical system in the Mid-Atlantic may bring only a modest increase in cloud cover Tuesday night and Wednesday. Highs will be just above 25 degrees for the week through the weekend. As for dry weather, our precipitation total for the month is 0.06 inches, which fell entirely on September 6th. If the dry forecast holds through the weekend, this would be the driest September since 1908 (through the 22nd). Ragweed plants thrive in warm and dry weather with a light breeze. This forecast is sure to trigger allergies! Plus, the warm and dry weather could result in muted fall colors this season.
