Semi-trailer crashes into Chi-Chi's Pizza in Canyon Country

A semi-trailer truck crashed into Chi-Chi's Pizza in Canyon Country on Monday afternoon in a multi-vehicle accident.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, emergency responders received reports of a traffic accident on Sierra Highway near the Freeway 14 exit around 3:20 p.m. on Monday.

A multi-vehicle accident occurred, and initial reports indicate that a semi-trailer involved crashed into the Chi-Chi's Pizza restaurant directly across from the Highway 14 exit.

According to authorities, the building was evacuated as a precaution.

According to authorities, one person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
