Morning briefing: Mets reclaim wildcard spot

Sean Manaea held the Nationals to just one run in seven innings and Starling Marte hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning and the Mets defeated Washington 2-1. Jose Iglesias contributed two hits and the RBI single to tie the game, while José Butto, Edwin DiazAnd Reed Garrett all innings were thrown scoreless.

Meanwhile, in Atlanta, the Dodgers went hitless for four innings before scoring two runs in the fifth inning and six runs in the seventh inning to earn a clear 9-0 victory over the Braves.
