Two-vehicle crash in Hamlin County leaves no injuries | Local news

{KXLG – Castlewood, SD} There were no injuries in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon, September 14, but one of the drivers was cited for traffic violations.

Hamlin County Sheriff's officers arrived at the intersection of County Road 184 and County Road 465, approximately 6 miles east of Castlewood, at approximately 4:40 p.m. Witnesses said a vehicle disregarded a stop sign, resulting in a collision. Both vehicles sustained significant damage, airbags deployed, and fluids leaked.







Emergency personnel, including the Castlewood ambulance and fire department, were dispatched to the scene as a precaution. However, none of those involved in the accident required medical attention.

A 25-year-old Watertown man was cited for driving without a valid license and failure to obey a stop sign. The Hamlin County Sheriff's Office investigated the accident and BES Towing of Lake Norden assisted in removing the damaged vehicles from the scene.
