As part of a plea agreement, charges of operating a motor vehicle to evade arrest, obstructing a police officer to evade arrest and willful reckless driving were dropped.

Hansen faces 1-50 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for November 25.

According to court documents, Hansen was clocked at 98 miles per hour. When the Nebraska State Patrol attempted to pull him over, he accelerated to 113 miles per hour. After a pit stop maneuver and the use of spike barriers, the chase ended when Hansen's car crashed into an NSP trooper's car in Cass County.

Court records also show that in September, two months before his arrest, he was caught speeding at 110 mph within one to two miles of the incident in Lancaster County and fined $300.
