Mbappé trains with Real Madrid ahead of his first UEFA Champions League match with the club

Kylian Mbappé trained with Real Madrid on Monday ahead of his first UEFA Champions League game with the club following his summer move from Paris Saint Germain.

The 25-year-old French striker has scored four goals in six appearances since joining Real Madrid and will look to increase that tally in his club's match against Stuttgart in the Spanish capital on Tuesday.

Mbappé was officially presented to Real Madrid in July, describing the move as a childhood dream, which came after turning down a move to Madrid two years ago because he decided at the last minute to extend his contract with Paris Saint Germain.

Madrid, which beat Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley Stadium in London last season, has its sights set on a 16th European title and will face the team again in a home match on October 22.

The Spanish side will play a number of home matches during the league phase of the Champions League, which has an updated format, including against FC Salzburg and AC Milan. In the UK, Real Madrid will face six-time winners Liverpool, as well as Atalanta, Brest and Lille.
