Chicken Man and Detective Hudson unite

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Robbery takes viewers to 1970s Atlanta as the city begins to develop a new identity. The miniseries premiered with the first three episodes on Peacock earlier this month, with new chapters being released weekly on the streamer until all eight installments premiere.

In this week's episode, premiering Thursday (September 19), two characters who have been enemies for years unite for a common goal. The exclusive preview of episode 5 shows Chicken Man, played by Kevin Hart, and Detective JD Hudson, played by Don Cheadle, teaming up to get to the bottom of a partially botched robbery that changed both of their lives forever.

The clip shows a nimble Chicken Man trying to convince the detective that they need to work together. Hudson initially laughs at the idea before hearing Chicken Man's convincing argument.

“This was all new to me. I mean, of course I knew about it [Muhammad] Ali and I knew that he refused to go to Vietnam and fight in that war, and who he became in that moment and what he meant to the culture,” Cheadle explained the story to VIBE. “But I didn't know anything about that fight or what was happening in Atlanta at the time… that aspect of Atlanta as a cultural center for black people in that specific way that it was.”
