Attempted murder suspect gets trial date

A 28-year-old Baltimore man accused of attempted murder appeared before Baltimore District Court Judge Melissa Copeland for a pretrial hearing on September 17.

Justin Westbrook is charged with attempted first-degree intentional murder, attempted second-degree intentional murder and first-degree assault in connection with an April 9 incident.

During the proceedings, Judge Copeland scheduled a hearing for November 19 before Judge Jennifer Schiffer, where Westbrook's case will be heard in court. Westbrook's attorney is Thomas Rafter.
