Diddy's twin daughters in California under the care of the friend of the late mother Kim Porter

DiddyThe sons are in New York watching their father go through an indictment and trial… but his teenage twin daughters are staying behind with a family friend in California.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … Diddy's teen and twin girls 17 years old D'Lila and 17 years old Jessie are currently in Los Angeles under the care of their deceased mother Kim Porterbest friend, Lala.

We were told that Lala acted as the girls' caregiver for several years, even though she is NOT their legal guardian.

TMZ broke the story… Kim was found dead in her Toluca Lake home in November 2018.

According to our sources, the girls are currently attending school in LA and Lala is overseeing their daily routine. We're told Lala does her best to protect the girls and keep the outside noise away… and she acts as a mother figure.

As we first reported … Diddy was arrested Monday in New York and accused charged with sex trafficking, organized crime and kidnapping. He appeared in court on Tuesday and pleaded not guiltyis being held without bail.

Diddy's three adult sons, Quincy, Justin And Christian “King” Combs appeared in federal court in Lower Manhattan to see him in court for the first time.

King is the twins' older brother, but the girls are keeping a low profile in California… and according to our sources, they are still supporting their father and hoping for his release.
