According to the arrest warrant, officers searching for a stolen vehicle on N. 48th Street found Nash in a home near the vehicle.

According to the arrest warrant, Nash was not involved in the theft of the vehicle, but was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail because he was wanted by the BRPD, EBRSO and a Texas agency as a fugitive.

The BRPD was seeking Nash for his alleged involvement in the first-degree rape of a woman in October 2021.

According to the arrest warrant, a woman reported being sexually assaulted by several men who invited her to her apartment to buy marijuana while she was looking for her car after leaving a bar.

Police said the victim's rape kit was run through the CODIS database and Nash was identified.
