7 people arrested after months-long investigation into illegal drug trafficking

PEARL, Mississippi (WLBT) – After a months-long investigation by the Pearl Police Department's Narcotics Division, seven people are in custody.

According to Pearl PD, officers arrested the suspects in connection with the illegal sale and distribution of narcotics.

During the investigation, officers seized illegal narcotics, including various pharmaceuticals, crystal methamphetamine and fentanyl.

According to Pearl PD, the success of the operation was due to the coordinated efforts of multiple departments within the agency, as well as assistance from the Richland and Ridgeland police departments and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.

  • David Bradly Scott (Pearl, MS), sale of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school
  • Ryan Harper (Pearl, MS), sale of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a movie theater x2
  • Jonvel Lewis (Pearl, MS), sale of a controlled substance x2
  • Kaleb Ingram (Pearl, MS), possession of a controlled substance
  • Nicholas Sanpaulin (Pearl, MS) Sale of a controlled substance

“This operation is part of a broader effort by the Pearl Police Department to combat the sale of illegal drugs and reduce drug-related crime in the community,” Pearl Police said in a Facebook post.
