Woman arrested and accused of pointing gun at parent at Cincinnati school, court documents say

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A woman was arrested and faces charges after a Cincinnati public school was temporarily closed Monday.

Hamilton County court records show Brittany Ingram is charged with aggravated menacing, intimidation and possession of a firearm on school property.

She is accused of pulling out a gun on school grounds, pointing it at the victim and threatening him, the indictment states.

According to CPS, this happened on the Monday before dismissal at Leap Academy on Baltimore Avenue between Ingram and another parent.

Below is a statement from CPS:

“Yesterday afternoon, LEAP Academy was placed on temporary lockdown as a precautionary measure due to an argument between two parents prior to the end of school. CPS's security team followed safety protocols and reported the incident to the Cincinnati Police Department for investigation and further assistance.”

Court records show the judge set her bail at $15,000.
