After 7 years of marriage and a "Selling Sunset" infidelity scandal, Chelsea Lazkani has filed for divorce from Jeff Lazkani - but here's why she still considers it a "success"

Although she faced difficult changes in her marriage, Sell sunset Star Chelsea Lazkani focuses on the positive.

In March, it was reported that Chelsea had filed for divorce from her husband Jeff Lazkani after seven years of marriage.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the reality star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the official reason for the divorce. The couple have two children together: son Maddox, 5, and daughter Melia, 3. Chelsea filed for joint custody and physical custody of the children.

She deleted all traces of Jeff from her Instagram, but it wasn't until earlier this month that people got a little insight into some of the marital problems Chelsea was actually struggling with. When season 8 of Sell sunset was dropped, it was revealed that Chelsea's husband had allegedly cheated on her.

As is typical in reality, the rumor came to light during a meeting with one of her least favorite co-stars, Breana “Bre” Tiesi. The two got into an argument after Chelsea made disparaging comments about Bre's family dynamic with Nick Cannon, with whom she has a two-year-old son.

Now that her marriage has been a big topic of conversation since the bombshell broke, Chelsea is speaking openly about her relationship and her views may surprise people. Last week, Chelsea appeared on iTV's This morning to explain why she considers her marriage a “success” despite all the drama.

“I say this often, my marriage will always be an incredible success,” Chelsea said. “We have the most incredible children together. We love them so much. They embody both me and him.”

“We've done it for so long, so incredibly well. That's OK. However things happened or however we got to where we are, we're here and we're just doing the best we can.”
