Indie rockers Joywave have always remained true to themselves. They never allow themselves to be pigeonholed and invite listeners to accompany them on another sound journey with their fifth album. Lasting pleasure. See what the band has in store this time when they perform with Hunny at Thalia Hall on Tuesday, September 17. Find tickets here.

It is almost time to say goodbye to Total 41. The Canadian punks captured our hearts with powerful songs like “In Too Deep,” “Motivation,” and “Fat Lip.” After 27 years and eight albums, the band is ready to call it quits. But before that, they'll be appearing at Riot Fest this weekend and playing a sold-out late-night show with Drug Church and Many Eyes at Concord Music Hall on Wednesday, September 18.th at 6 p.m. If you don't have a ticket, you can also stream the show live via Veeps. More information is available here.

Indie pop singer Beabadoobee has earned her status as a hot singer with her very personal songs and authentic performance. She will bring her brand of confessional bedroom pop to the Aragon Ballroom on Tuesday, September 17th at 6:30 p.m. Hovvdy and Keni Titus will accompany her. You can still get tickets here.

Local progressive rock greats forecast (led by guitarist/vocalist Steven Kikoen) bring their all-star band to the Arcada Theater in St. Charles on Thursday night, September 19th. If you're a fan of Genesis, Emerson Lake and Palmer, these guys are for you. They're also throwing in a few surprise artists from the pop realm of prog-influenced artists (Tears For Fears, 10CC, Supertramp) to make it even more interesting.
