Lauren Sánchez says her “sexy” style is inspired by Jennifer Lopez

Lauren Sánchez loves a little duality when it comes to her fashion choices.

In an episode of The viewthe helicopter pilot and philanthropist who has just published her first children’s book, The fly that flew into space on 10 September — talked about what she looks for in a great outfit.

“You've become a fashion icon who's not afraid to be bold, you're not afraid to be sexy,” said co-host Sunny Hostin. “Have you always been interested in fashion, do you like to dress up or are you really into sweatpants?”

Sánchez, 54, proclaimed her love for sweatpants, saying: “I come home and wear sweatpants all day. I love it.”

At the same time, she considers her style to be “a little bit sexy” and draws inspiration from some of Hollywood’s hottest and most fashionable women.

“I really admire women like Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek, Jennifer Lopez and Sofía Vergara – they really live their culture in the way they dress and I think that's just in me,” said the former presenter.

This side of Sánchez's style always comes out when she's on the go, whether she's traveling the world in high-end outfits (she was once spotted at an Italian airport in a $6,000 Dolce & Gabbana outfit), walking the red carpet with her fiancé, Jeff Bezos, or sitting front row at big-name designers' fashion shows.

Most recently, she appeared at the Kering Foundation Caring for Women Gala and Dinner on September 9 in a transparent, off-the-shoulder dress covered in velvet lace by Oscar de la Renta.

Although Bezos did not walk the carpet, he was photographed with Sánchez at the event, which was co-hosted by her close friend Kim Kardashian and held at The Pool in New York City.

Another memorable moment for Sánchez occurred when she attended the 2024 White House State Dinner in a daring red Rosario dress with a tight lace bodice.
