Charges of sexual offenses filed against murder suspect

A man arrested last week after Greenville County, South Carolina, deputies say he shot and killed a woman in his car is facing new child sex abuse charges, officials said. Deputy Jeremy Holt of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office said Michael Louis Moore, 58, is now charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a minor. The charges came after Moore's arrest on murder charges on Sept. 11. Deputies said at the time that Moore shot and killed 46-year-old Michez Fowler on Sept. 9 while riding in her car. After Moore's arrest, an unrelated victim who knew Moore through a relative came forward with information that she had been sexually abused by Moore several times since August of this year, Holt said. According to arrest warrants, Moore was living with the victim at the time and knew she was a minor. Moore remains in the Greenville County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
