Investigation of domestic incident in Felton leads to arrest of Newark, Maryland man – WGMD


The investigation into a domestic dispute that occurred on October 31, 2023, led to the arrest of a Newark, Maryland man. According to Felton Police, 38-year-old Aaron James Brown Jr., who fled the scene before police arrived at the Peachtree Apartments in Felton, is facing charges including aggravated menacing (Class E felony), indecent touching (misdemeanor), and criminal damage to property under $1,000 (misdemeanor). Yesterday, Tuesday, September 17, Brown was extradited from Somerset County, Maryland to Felton Police where he was arrested and arraigned on his charges. Brown was arraigned via video by Justice of the Peace 2 and released on honor pending a later court date. He was also placed under a restraining order against the victim and Peachtree Apartments. During the verbal altercation, Brown allegedly threatened to throw a concrete block through a sliding glass door at the female victim, then broke the sliding door as he entered the apartment. He allegedly shoved the female victim with both hands, causing her to fall backwards.
