Burglary suspect arrested in Wagoner County thanks to quick action by two neighbors – 102.3 KRMG

BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma – Thanks to the quick and courageous action of two alert neighbors, a Wagoner County deputy was able to arrest a burglary suspect.

On September 15, Wagoner County Deputy D. Wells was dispatched to the 293000 block of East 70th Street South in Broken Arrow for a suspected burglary.

A witness had seen three people walking around on his neighbor's back patio and wanted to talk to them.

As he got closer, he noticed two of the suspects leaving the house through his neighbor's back window.

When he shouted at them to stop, the suspects fled.

The witness gave chase and managed to pull one of the suspects to the ground.

A second neighbor, two houses down from the victim's house, noticed that a black car was parked in front of the victim's house for an unusually long time.

As he went to investigate the strange car, he saw the suspect being tackled to the ground. He was asked to help detain the suspect and call 911.

When Deputy Wells arrived on the scene, he arrested the suspect without incident and identified him as Camilo Anives-Bohorquez.

He was eventually taken to the Wagoner County Detention Center where he was arrested for second-degree burglary.

At the time of the incident, two unknown black cars were seen in the neighborhood, which, according to a video available to investigators, had picked up the two accomplices.

Investigators are still searching for these two other suspects.
