Mayo Clinic mobilizes emergency units for apple orchard incident; Marshfield treats 7 patients | Eye On Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) – After a serious incident involving injuries occurred at Bushel and an apple orchard in Peck Wednesday morning, News 18 contacted area hospitals to inquire about their response.

News 18 reported that 25 people were taken to area hospitals after two hay wagons overturned. They contained children and adults. It is unclear who was injured and how serious the injuries are.

In a statement, Mayo Clinic Health System said it had mobilized its emergency response teams and was one of the agencies responding to the incident.

Marshfield Clinic Health System told News 18 that seven patients are being treated from the tractor accident. Their spokesperson said injuries ranged from mild to severe. No further information was provided.

There are no fatalities.
