Cloudy with passing showers over the next few days; flood warning in force for the coast

A storm offshore will continue to direct winds away from the sea and toward the coast. This wind pushes the sea water back toward the coast.

With tides already a little higher than normal due to yesterday's full moon, minor coastal flooding is expected in the usual places that experience a little saltwater intrusion during such winds and astronomical events. No big deal. Don't park your car in an area that normally floods.

This coastal storm is going to be pretty pesky. It's far enough from the coast that rain isn't a big problem. Just passing showers along the coast. But close enough that the clouds will be a fixture for a few days. Hey, it could have been a lot worse.

TONIGHT: Cloudy with a chance of rain, especially along the coast. Lows will be around 18 degrees.

MORNING: Mostly cloudy with a chance of passing showers, especially along the coast. Windy. North-northeast winds around 24 km/h. Highs around 27 km/h.

FRIDAY: Humid moments, otherwise cloudy. High around 77.

WEEKEND: Looks quite nice for the beginning of autumn. Partly sunny on both days with daytime temperatures around 24 degrees.
