Two teens identified in Somerville airsoft incident, police say – Boston 25 News

SOMERVILLE, Massachusetts – Police in Somerville say they have identified two teenagers wanted in connection with four incidents in which passersby were shot with airsoft bullets.

Authorities say the juveniles' parents will be notified and the department will investigate whether the convicted individuals can be released from prison through the COHR unit rather than facing charges.

The teenagers, estimated to be between 13 and 15 years old, are accused of wearing masks while cycling and shooting at residents.

According to police, the first incident occurred on Tuesday near Prospect and Somerville Avenue. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Also on Tuesday, a person was shot on the community path near Gilman and Walnut Streets and also suffered a minor injury.

On Wednesday, a person was shot in the eye on Broadway, according to police. The severity of the injuries is currently unclear.

According to police, two people were also shot in Argenziano Park, including one who was holding a baby.
